A series of light threads cut on both the spindle and spindle lock allows incremental adjustments by turning the spindle or it can easily “zip” up or down for larger movements. The Hornady Custom Grade Die Zip Spindle Kit Straight Wall is the ideal kit for spare parts, or for updating an older Hornady Sizing die to utilize the new zip spindle design. The Zip Spindle has a series of light threads cut on the spindle and spindle lock. This eliminates slippage and makes tightening the spindle lock a breeze when adjusting.
